Description
Quick fondue recipe that can use any assortment of sides.
Ingredients
Cheese Base
1 shallot finely chopped
1 jigger of sherry (any brand and your choice of dry or sweet)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 cup half-and-half cream
8 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup of shredded Gruyere or Swiss cheese
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper
Dippers and Accompaniments
2 cups of steamed broccoli
2 cups steamed zucchini or yellow squash
12 fingerling potatoes, cut into 1 inch bites
1 pound of steamed asparagus
1/2 French baguette cubed (can toast if desired)
14 oz little smokies
4 Roasted jalapeños halved
