Sherry Cream Cheese Fondue

Description

Quick fondue recipe that can use any assortment of sides.

Ingredients

  • Cheese Base
  • 1 shallot finely chopped
  • 1 jigger of sherry (any brand and your choice of dry or sweet)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup half-and-half cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup of shredded Gruyere or Swiss cheese
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper
  • Dippers and Accompaniments
  • 2 cups of steamed broccoli
  • 2 cups steamed zucchini or yellow squash
  • 12 fingerling potatoes, cut into 1 inch bites
  • 1 pound of steamed asparagus
  • 1/2 French baguette cubed (can toast if desired)
  • 14 oz little smokies
  • 4 Roasted jalapeños halved
