Raspberry or Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 (12 oz) container softened Cool Whip
  • 2 (10 oz) boxes of frozen raspberries or 1 bag frozen strawberries
  • 1 (6 oz) box raspberry or strawberry Jello
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 12 oz cream cheese softened

Instructions

  1. Mix pretzels, 3 tablespoons butter, and some sugar. Put evenly in bottom of a 9x13 inch pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool.
  2. Beat cream cheese and Cool Whip, add a little sugar if wanted. Spread over pretzel crust and chill.
  3. Mix gelatin with hot water. Add berries with juice, substituting the juice for the cold water. Pour over cream cheese and chill until completely set up.
